Aiden Blizzard is an explosive opening batsman from Australia who represents the Southern Redbacks in the Australian domestic competition. Early in his career, Blizzard made his T20 debut for the Victorian Bushrangers in 2007 and stormed into the spotlight by scoring an impressive 89 from 39 balls. The innings featured some of the hardest and cleanest hitting in the competition. Later, he moved to South Australia seeking more opportunities to enhance his career and has been a regular feature of the Southern Redbacks in all forms of the game. Fans in Australia are also well aware of his monstrous hitting abilities and spectators present at the WACA found this out when he hit a 130metres six out of the ground, into the car park. Playing for MI in IPL-4, Blizzard made his impact with the willow and the Mumbai crowd will vividly remember his 5 consecutive boundaries off Morne Morkel in an over. If Blizzard continues in similar fashion, then it won’t be long before he makes his appearance for the Australian side.
