It’s time for that hammer to come down again. After a fascinating couple of days in Jeddah for the IPL, it’s time to get it done all over again, this time for the WPL in Bengaluru. Keep your calendars free on the 15^th of December, 2024, for this promises to be a proper treat for your Sunday afternoon.

This WPL Auction, though, is a mini one, with most teams having retained a large part of their core squad. 14 players were retained, and Issy Wong, Fatima Jaffer, Humariaa Kaazi and Priyanka Bala were the four players released from Mumbai Indians’ Batch of 2024. So here’s what that leaves us with:

Purse remaining: 2.65 cr INR

Total players available: 120 players (91 Indian and 29 overseas including three from Associate nations)
