MIvRR: Our Wankhede, and Our 'W'inning way
A false start is no problem. Why? Because historically Mumbai Indians have shown how to reverse this in style and go on a winning roll. But guess what? We are going home, our abode, our castle of dreams, the Wankhede Stadium, for Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals on April 1, 2024.
It’s a new month to look forward to and an opportunity to get a fresh beginning. Is it achievable? YES. The last time MI played against RR in their opening game of the season, the MUM-boys triumphed in 2010. Fourteen years later, the teams meet again. Paltan, let’s manifest the same result, shall we?
It's the 50th anniversary of cricket action at the Wankhede Stadium and the first home game of IPL 2024 — it just doesn’t get any bigger. MI is known to break records, and they will aim to break their four-game streak of losing their first home game of the IPL campaign at the Wankhede.
Mumbai have won five of their eight meetings with Rajasthan at our home turf - the Wankhede Stadium. So, let’s keep the momentum going upward and let our BLUE and GOLD submerge the Blue and Pink of Rajasthan Royals.
