Ishan Kishan: Surya has been performing well throughout the season

Mumbai Indians recorded their fourth consecutive win in Dream11 IPL 2020 as they defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets.

The men in Blue and Gold started the match on a good note as Boult and Krunal struck early. However, the partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan threatened to take the game away from MI before they staged a comeback later in the innings.

Later on, it was a spectacular batting show from Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav to tilt the game in MI’s favor. Quinton was awarded the Man of the Match for his 53 (36).

Rohit: Our batting makes us believe we can chase any total

”The kind of cricket we are playing gives us a lot of confidence. It's important to have momentum with us. A perfect day for us, getting those two points was crucial. We did everything right, but there are still some things we can look to improve on. We did well to restrict them to 160-odd.”

“Clinical with the bat, but not so much towards the end. We have often spoken about one set batter staying at the crease till the end and making sure they finish it off. Chasing hasn’t been easy in the tournament but looking at our batting today makes us believe we can chase any total.”

“We need to come out and play good cricket. We did really well in getting those partnerships in the middle that helped us in crossing the line.”

Ishan: Surya has been performing very well throughout the season

“When I was batting in the middle overs, it was pretty important for us to keep the momentum going. We needed a few runs and I and Surya did that when Stoinis was bowling. It was good overall, but it was important for me and Surya to finish the match but it's still good learning for us.”

“Most of our batsmen are attacking, they are very good at the back end. We have scored around 190 many times in this tournament. We knew that we just needed to back our instincts and be positive. The pressure was there because they have a very good bowling line-up and won matches before in these situations. Pollard asked me to keep the process right and intent. That was the only thing I was thinking about.”

“Surya has been performing very well throughout the season and even over the last couple of years. I am just trying to take some experience from him. He is very consistent and has very good batting skills. He has done a lot of hard work before the season so credit goes to him.”

Quinton de Kock: I just had to capitalize on the opportunity

“I enjoyed the win at the end of the day. I just kept it simple. I've been batting well in the nets, and it was just a matter of doing well in the game. I knew eventually I would get a score, just had to capitalize on the opportunity. I don't think it's getting any cooler, compared to South Africa. We are getting used to the weather, but it does get quite difficult in this heat and humidity.”
