Paras Mhambrey, fresh from World Cup triumph, returns to MI

Paras Mhambrey and Lasith Malinga, a deadly combo. India’s former Bowling Coach, Mhambrey, who oversaw the growth of India’s pace bowling department into arguably the world’s greatest lineup, and was a part of the 2024 T20 World Cup winning coaching staff, is all set to come back to Mumbai Indians.

He will work alongside current Bowling Coach Lasith Malinga, as part of the coaching team under Head Coach, Mahela Jayawardene. He has been a part of the Mumbai Indians coaching team earlier as well, celebrating title wins in the IPL and the Champions League T20.

Mhambrey was a right-arm medium pacer from Mumbai, and made his international debut for India on their tour of England in 1996. Over his career, he’s won multiple domestic titles with Mumbai. He’s worked closely with our boys in the past, and we are super excited to have him back in the Blue and Gold!
