A) STANDARD TERMS

• These general terms and conditions (‘Standard Terms’) together with the terms and conditions that are specific to the Contest (the 'Contest Terms') are referred to as the 'Rules'.
• These Rules apply to the MI Quiz on WhatsApp bot (the 'Contest') that is hosted by Indiawin Sports Private Limited (“ISPL”) season 2025 of the Indian Premier League (“IPL”). By entering the Contest, the Participant agrees to be bound by the Rules.
• ISPL reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/or the Rules without notice for any event that is outside of ISPL’s reasonable control. Any changes to the Rules, or cancellation of the Contest will be posted on the Mumbai Indians website https://www.mumbaiindians.com/mi-quiz-whatsapp-terms. It is the responsibility of Participant to keep informed as to any changes to the Rules.
• In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, the conduct or results of the Contest, or any other matter relating to a Contest, the decision of ISPL shall be final and unchallengeable and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into, comment issued, or reason given in respect of any decision made by ISPL.

ELIGIBILTY FOR CONTEST PARTICIPANTS:

• The Contest is only open to Participants of 18 years and above and residing within the territorial limits of India during the Contest Period.
• All Participants must be valid users of WhatsApp account(s).
• ISPL reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any Participant if ISPL has reasonable grounds to believe that such Participant has breached any of the Rules, any applicable law or has otherwise infringed the intellectual property of any other person. Each Participant acknowledges and agrees that any failure to comply with the Rules could lead to ISPL disqualifying that person, without ISPL giving any reason for such disqualification or granting any opportunity for challenge.

CONTEST ENTRIES

• ISPL and/or its group companies shall not be responsible in the event that the Participant’s WhatsApp Entries are not received or the Participant is unable to participate or post his/her entry in the Contest on the designated MI Buddy WhatsApp number - +91 7977012345 (“MI Buddy”) , due to any network problem, breakdown in machinery or any other technical error of any nature whatsoever.
• There is no requirement to make any purchase in order to enter and participate in the Contest.
• Multiple entries per Participant is permitted provided that, each Entry is submitted through an independent WhatsApp account of such Participant.

WINNING ENTRIES

• Prize winners (“Winners”) will be selected in the manner set out in the Contest Terms. No prize will be awarded where any Participant has breached any Rule (as determined by ISPL in its sole discretion).
• Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. In the event of a prize being unavailable for any reason ISPL reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time. The Contest or the Prize(s) cannot be combined with any other contest or activity. It is clarified that ISPL has no obligation to record the winning of the Prize(s) or incorporate it in any promotional program/activity/material.
• ISPL reserves the right to select and declare the Winners of the Contest and such decision shall be final and binding on the Participants and the Winner(s).
• All winning Participants shall be communicated of their winning by text messages or telephone calls (“Prize Notification”). The Winner(s) shall respond within 24 hours of the Prize Notification. In the event that any Prize Notification is returned as undeliverable or any Winner fails to validly reply to a Prize Notification within 24 hours, ISPL reserves the right to disqualify the Winner and select an alternative Winner, and ISPL and/or its group companies shall be released from all obligations towards the Winner(s) in connection to the Prize or otherwise.
• Following the Prize Notification, the Winners will be required to send ISPL full details of their postal address to which the Prize will be delivered and a scanned copy of any identification proof such as PAN card, Aadhaar Card or valid Passport. After dispatch of a Prize to a Winner, in case any loss/damage etc. is caused to or incurred by the Prize(s) during transit or otherwise, ISPL will not be liable for any such loss/damage etc. Further, ISPL and/or any of its group companies shall not be held liable for any failure and/or any other defect in or damage to the Prize, if any, whether caused during transit or otherwise.
• Neither ISPL nor any of its group companies shall be responsible or liable for any failure to deliver the Prize due to reasons beyond its control, due to which the Winner is unable to receive the Prize from ISPL.
• In the event that a Prize-winner is disqualified from the Contest for any reason, ISPL will, unless otherwise stated in the Contest Terms, select an alternative Prize-winner in the same manner as the original Prize-winner and such selection will be subject to the Rules

LIABILITY

• ISPL accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment of any kind suffered by any Participant in entering the Contest, including as a result of any Participant winning or not winning any prize.

DATA PROTECTION

• ISPL will use any personal information that you provide or which ISPL has access to by virtue of your participation in the Contest, for marketing purposes including the distribution of regular email updates or newsletters. Any personal information relating to Participants will be used solely by us in accordance with the applicabe terms of the ISPL Privacy Policy which is uploaded on the Mumbai Indians website https://www.mumbaiindians.com/privacy-policy
• If requested by ISPL, all Prize-winners unconditionally agree (as a condition of accepting any Prize s to: (a) the use of their name, one or more photographs of by ISPL for promotional purpose and (b) co-operate with or participate in any other reasonable post-Contest publicity.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

• The Rules and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including the Contest), existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• The Courts of Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Rules or their subject matter, existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

B) CONTEST TERMS

The rules of the Contest are as follows:

• The contest shall be conducted between the 20th March 2025 (“Commencement Date”) to the 21st May 2025 unless extended or withdrawn at the discretion of ISPL.
• The Contest shall be run in the form of a quiz on the MI Buddy WhatsApp account everyday on weekly basis from every Thursday to Wednesday( “Week”).
• The Participant will initiate a conversation on WhatsApp daily with MI Buddy and answer one question every day of the Week.
• Each correct answer / Entry awards the Participant 10 points.
• One Participant who gets most or all Entries correct in the relevant Week will be declared the Winner. In the event of multiple correct Entries, the Winner will be picked by drawing lots from such correct Entries and will be announced on social media platforms of Mumbai Indians.
• Each Winners will be awarded prizes (“Prizes”). The prize will be a hamper/ goodie bag containing MI branded merchandise from MI Shop.
