ANNOUNCED: Who’s retained, who’s released ahead of WPL 2025!
Retention days and retention announcements are always bittersweet. Our #BatchOf2024 will always be a special one for the MI Paltan, with several moments on and off the field for us to cherish. And keeping up with the spirit of continuity, Mumbai Indians retain fourteen players from the squad for the WPL 2025 season.

And with a heavy heart, with bid goodbye (for now!) to four of our clutch players, who gave us so much joy over the last two years. The ever-smiling Issy Wong, with the first-ever hat-trick in MI’s WPL history, Humariraa Kaazi, Fatima Jaffer and Priyanka Bala with their passion and their all-round skills, will truly be missed.
