Anshul Kamboj was making his debut in the Duleep Trophy competition, along with the domestic heavyweights last week. But he was never overwhelmed by the occasion as he picked up a wicket in the very first over of the match. A match-haul of 3/96 and a winning start to his team - India C’s - campaign. What more can the 23-year-old pacer from Haryana ask for?

Uttarakhand hero turns Pittoragarh icon

The searing pace and those unerring yorkers are back once again. Gear up Paltan, Akash Madhwal is back in action. He will be the icon player and captain of the Pithoragarh Hurricanes in the inaugural edition of the Uttarakhand Premier League starting on September 15 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun.

Brace up, Madhwal is all set to unleash his thunderbolts and make us fall in love with the sound of the timber flying around.
