India, Bangladesh all set for historic day-night Test
After a dominating win over their Bangladeshi counterparts in Indore, the World No.1 Test side will have their eyes on sealing the series and completing yet another whitewash. As for the visitors, who hardly got anything right in the first encounter, they have an uphill task at hand.
Here are the five big talking points ahead of the second Test:-
1) First Day-Night Test
The upcoming encounter between India and Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens will see both the countries playing their first Test under the lights with the specially designed pink ball.

2) Rohit Sharma’s brilliance at the Eden Gardens
The Indian opener’s love affair with the Eden Gardens has been prominent for a while now. His maiden IPL hundred came at the same ground. Rohit also made his Test debut at this venue with a clinical 177 that propelled India to an innings victory against West Indies.
A nudge for a single brings up 150 for @ImRo45, making him only the second Indian to score 150 on Test debut #IndvWI #wtc

This venue has also witnessed one of the most spectacular innings ever when Hitman scored the highest numbers in an ODI match - 264 (173) against Sri Lanka - to help India script a massive 153 run victory, five years ago.

3) Skipper Kohli will look to step up with the bat
Having gotten out for a duck in the first match, captain Virat Kohli will be eager to add some runs to his kitty. The last time he played at this venue, Kohli scored a ton against Sri Lanka. The Indian skipper will also be aiming to seal another whitewash after West Indies and South Africa.

4) Bangladesh under pressure
After getting almost nothing except the toss right in the first game at Indore, Bangladesh will have a lot of pressure to perform. While a series win is already out of their hands, they will look to draw level and open their account in the World Test Championship. The visitors would be keen on being more competitive than their dismal show in the first Test.
Unstoppable India 🔥

5) Who has prior multi-day pink ball experience?
In the current squad, there are a handful who have already played a multi-day pink ball cricket match before. While Mohammed Shami and Wriddhiman Saha featured in the Super League final, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant, Mayank Agarwal and Kuldeep Yadav have taken part in a first-class Day-Night match before.
