INDvENG, 1st ODI: India’s clinical evening in Nagpur makes it 1-0!

The Indian cricket team kickstarted the ODI leg of the England tour of India 2025 with a hard-fought four-wicket victory! 🇮🇳

Opting to bat first, England registered 248/10 courtesy of Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell’s fifties, which was chased down comfortably in 39 overs.

While Shubman’s 87 helped anchor the run chase, Axar Patel recorded his third ODI fifty in what was a perfect blend of defense and attack in equal proportions.

The southpaw, however, departed for 52 as Adil Rashid got his first wicket with a peach of a delivery.
