May 17, 2024: Mumbai Indians vs Lucknow Super Giants
"This season we didn't play good quality cricket and it cost us the whole season. It's a professional world, sometimes there'll be good and sometimes bad days. As a group we didn't play quality and smart cricket and it showed in the results. Too early to exactly point out what went wrong tonight. We can pass on this game and look forward to the next season." - Hardik's final assessment of the campaign.
"It's always about playing for the badge, playing for pride - all those words are important in the group. We know where we stand. But ending the season playing good cricket will always be appreciated. It gives us more freedom maybe to go out there and express ourselves. - Captain HP at the toss for MIvLSG.

May 6, 2024: Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
"SKY was unbelievable. More than him getting runs, he put so much pressure on bowlers that even other batters got loose balls. He breaks you. He's evolved. I'm lucky to have him on my team. I hope to see many more such innings." - On the match-winning knock of Aapla Dada Surya.
"The wickets Piyush took are guys who can take the game away. He asked to bowl long from the shorter side but had to adjust. In T20s, consistency is more important than change-ups, which PC was today and found success with." - Hardik showered praise on Piyush Chawla's crucial effort with the ball.
"It's all about playing for pride, play for the badge. And for fans who have been with us through thick and thin." - Captain HP at the toss for MIvSRH.

April 30, 2024: Lucknow Super Giants vs Mumbai Indians
"I think he (Nehal Wadhera) did well last year as well. He couldn't get opportunities earlier (in the tournament), but he will play a lot of IPL and (represent) India eventually." - Hardik praised Nehal Wadhera's iron-willed innings.
"I have always believed that you will be up, and you'll be up, just that you got to give it your all. There are a lot of things to learn from this game. It has been fantastic." - On taking the positives from the defeat and continuing on.
"I think losing early wickets is tough to recover from, and that's why we couldn't do it (recover) today. You still have to see the ball and hit. We just missed those balls and got out. That has been the kind of season we have had so far." - HP's assessment of the hits and misses in today's game.
"We know that all games are do-or-die. We need to focus on one game at a time. I think we have backed our playing XI every time we have played. It's a long tournament, but we have believed in all our players every time we have played." - Captain HP at the coin toss.

April 27, 2024: Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians
"This game is becoming more and more closer. It (the difference) used to be a couple of overs, now it’s becoming a couple of balls. Because of the kind of games and how the bowlers are under pressure, we backed ourselves to do it. If I had to pick something out, we could have taken a couple of more chances in the middle overs." - Captain Hardik's assessment of how his MI boys stood up to the record chase given to them.
"You should not really focus on what has happened in the past. Anyone can beat anyone. Our goal is to play our brand of cricket and put our best foot forward." - On how the team will approach the upcoming games.
"Every game is a new game and we have to make sure we are not out. We keep fighting and keep coming hard in each game." - Captain HP on the task at hand for MI.

"It's a very surreal feeling to play the 100th game for the franchise, I started my journey with MI, and I'm very grateful. We've taken a lot of positives from all four games, we want to rectify and reduce our mistakes." - Captain HP at RRvMI toss." - Captain HP at RRvMI toss.

April 18, 2024: Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians
"Unbelievable, playing the way he did and hitting the ball off the middle. Great for his future." - Hardik had some words of appreciation for PBKS' Ashutosh Sharma.
"Everyone's nerves got tested. We did speak about before the game that the character will be checked in this game. Naturally, you think you're ahead in the game. But we know IPL has a tendency to produce these games where oppositions can come back and how!" - HP on how the game went to the wire.
"We did speak in the timeout about it is not about how we look, we will keep fighting. Make sure we don't ball the soft balls. The batsmen played good shots, but we were soft in certain overs. Nevertheless, a win is a win" - Captain Hardik on the discussion before the death overs of the defending the 192-run score.
"We don't judge (our performances); a couple of times, we had the game in our grasp and didn't finish the game. The IPL tests you. When the game is not over, it is not over. We take it game by game, go out there and give our 100 per cent. Every individual commits to the team's goal, the results will be seen." - Captain HP at the toss for PBKSvMI.

April 14, 2024: Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings
"The target was definitely gettable, but they bowled pretty well. Pathirana was the difference. It was about batting well and keeping the intent. We were going quite well (in the run chase) until Pathirana came into the attack and took those two wickets. It was about what was best at that time; we could have done something different. We are on the road for the next four games. We need to play good cricket and keep the intensity high." - Hardik's thoughts after the game.
"Need to stick to the basics. Winning is very important to get the momentum. We were able to win two games convincingly. That's the beauty about IPL, everyone has to contribute. Your team will be able to achieve goals eventually." - Captain HP at the toss for MIvCSK.

"Mood before and after the win has been the same. We play every game with a fresh start. We want to put early pressure with the new ball.
