10.42 PM IST: ...and that's a wrap! Our #BatchOf2025 has finally assembled and we simply can't wait to begin our quest for the sixth trophy when we take the field in 2025 season. CAN WE BEGIN THE BRAND NEW SEASON ALREADY PLEASSEEEE????

4.47 PM IST: There's absolutely no stopping us today!! Mystery spinner Allah Ghazanfar from Afghanistan is up next & we raise our padel. We come in at INR 2.40 crore after RCB opt out at INR 2.00 crore. C'MONNNNNN, we finally get him at INR 4.80 crore. We are on a rolllll!!!!

4.35 PM IST: Deepak Chahar is the next player out and we go straight in for the seamer! One more bidding war with PBKS and CSK, but HE IS OURS!!!!! INR 9.25 crore is the successful bid and he comes steaming into aamchi Mumbai, Paltan! How happy are you with this signing! Comments aane do guys!

4.26 PM IST: Fierce bidding war 🔛 for Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. We go neck-to-neck with LSG to avail his services and the price breezed from INR 2.00 crore to INR 10.50 crore in a whisker!! 🤯 <breathing heavily>

Oh wait, RCB comes in absolutely out of nowhere and gets him for INR 10.75 crore. WOAHH, that was some bidding war. Again, it was agonisingly close...

5. Ryan Rickelton - Straight in from the South African Safari INR 1.00 crore

4.04 PM IST: YAYYYYYYYYY!!!! Here's our first buy of the day and it's the South African power-hitter Ryan Rickelton at his base price of INR 1.00 crore! Is it a steal or is it a STEALL!!!! Paltan, let's have some welcome words for Ryan bhau in the comments please!!
