Yep, Jofra Archer is MI Cape Town’s wild card pick for the upcoming SA20 tournament. After a near two-year break from international cricket to recover from an elbow injury and a stress fracture to the lower back, Archer is finally set to return to serious competitive cricket.

He’s back now with the England Lions squad, and he was back to doing what he’s always been doing: getting batters hopping around. The pace was right up there, the accuracy was right up there, the hunger was right up there.

Running from January 10 until February 11 2023, Archer would be joining a host of our stars in the SA20, including three of his England teammates in Liam Livingstone, Olly Stone and Sam Curran. Oh we cannot wait. A spicy Newlands pitch nipping around under lights, and Jofra Archer smashing stumps, it’s going to be the sight of the summer!
