Match preview, RR vs MI: Starting with hopes anew after short break
Read it in Hindi.
Read it in Marathi.
Six days after playing LSG at the Wankhede stadium, we are gearing up for another matchday as we lock horns with Rajasthan Royals at the DY Patil stadium on April 30th.
It is set to be a tough encounter as RR have won four of their last five games and sit second in the points table.
RR had also gotten the better of us in our meeting earlier this season.
However, the numbers do give us an ever-so-slight edge as we have won 13 of the 25 games, with RR winning the other 12.
We also have a 3-2 record in our last five encounters against the Royals.
Players to watch out for
Opener Jos Buttler is in sublime form this season, having scored three centuries - one against us - and is the current holder of the orange cap.
Spin-twins Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin have been in top form for RR. Chahal holds the purple cap while Ashwin has been largely economical and has also contributed some runs while walking in at no.3.
For us, Tilak Varma is in top form, having scored two fifties and played some very crucial knocks in the rest of the games.
Boom has been at his best, nailing his yorkers and getting the ball to swing and rival batters have not taken much risk against him.
Upcoming milestones
Skipper Ro needs one big hit to complete 200 sixes for us.
Boom, who has 17 wickets against RR currently, could become the second-highest wicket-taker vs RR if he picks a fifer.
SKY needs 28 more runs to reach 2000 Tata IPL runs for us.
The team will be refreshed after a short break and so are we, Paltan, so let's support our boys wholeheartedly!
