Hardik Pandya is all set to make his much-awaited return to the Indian colours after more than a year. While he has been included in the limited-overs squad, Jasprit Bumrah has been picked for all the formats.

With Rohit Sharma having a hamstring injury, the BCCI medical team will monitor his progress. This is going to be India's first cricketing assignment since the pandemic began.

The upcoming series will have 120 points at stake with the victorious team gaining 30 points for each Test. If the match is tied, both teams will share 15 points each and 10 points in case of a draw.

Back in 2018, India defeated Australia 2-1 to secure their first-ever Test series win Down Under. Bumrah was the leading wicket-taker in the series with 21 scalps to his name.
