Jasprit Jasbirsingh Bumrah - the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for December 2024! We never had any doubts about this, did we? 😉

Our Boom had a month to cherish in Australia during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, fending off competition from Aussie skipper Pat Cummins and Proteas’ Dane Paterson to clinch the title.

Jassi bhai, as expected, lived upto his “game-changer player” tag. The Indian pace spearhead claimed a record-breaking 32 wickets in five Tests Down Under - the most for India in a Test series in Australia.

Averaging only 14.22, Bumrah scalped 22 of the 32 wickets last month. A rampaging 6/76 in the first innings at Brisbane, followed by 5/57 in Melbourne, highlighted an inspiring performance. Bole toh, ekdum zhakkas!

Paltan, it didn’t end here either! Boom registered his 200th Test wicket, ending our “Head-ache” during the Boxing Day Test.

Remarkably, he became the first bowler with an average of less than 20 to claim 200 wickets in Test history (YES… You read that right!), surpassing the record of West Indies great Malcolm Marshall. Wow, just wow!
