On April 24, 1973, the world was gifted with a special person, one who would revolutionise each letter in the word CRICKET: Consistency, Runs, Impact, Commitment, Knowledge, Entertainment, and Talent. His name? Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

After hammering 164 half-centuries in international cricket and 13 in the Tata IPL, the Master Blaster has hit a unique fifty today - his 50th birthday.
