Ten days since Harman and Co. brought it home…

By Mumbai Indians

So much has happened since. The celebrations quickly turned into us diving deep into IPL action. The player arrivals, captain’s press conference, training, travel, even a match … each of these last ten days has been an event. It’s gone at breakneck speed.

But 15 March 2025, that magical evening at the Brabourne Stadium can never be forgotten. Fighting our way to 149, thanks to Kaptaan Harmanpreet Kaur playing a knock as clutch as they come, counter-attacking, turning the pressure over, and lifting the Mumbai Indians to a total the bowlers could play with, to an absolute gun defence, strangling the Delhi Capitals with spin and breaking them with pace, it was a night we simply can’t have enough of.

Nat Sciver-Brunt won the Orange Cap and the Most Valuable Player award. Amelia Kerr won the Purple Cap. Amanjot Kaur became the season’s Emerging Player. Shabnim Ismail bowled the most dot balls in the season. And of course, the big one, in front of our loyal Mumbai army, was coming home!

In Harman, we believed, and she made sure we bagged the ultimate prize, MUMBAI INDIANS’ SECOND WPL TITLE, the MI Family’s 12th piece of silverware! It’s ten days old..
