WPL 2024 schedule #AaliRe...MI vs DC to kick off season 2!
WPL Defending Champions #AaliRe … the wait is over, the anticipation can go, the buildup can begin. The Women’s Premier League 2024 schedule is officially here, and we cannot contain our excitement!
Mark your calendars, chalk our your excuses, file for leaves, and bring out that Blue and Gold, Mumbai Indians led by our leader, our legend, Harmanpreet Kaur, are all set to defend our crown. And our campaign begins with a repeat clash of last year’s final – against the Delhi Capitals on February 23, 2024. The five-team, 22-game league is set to be held in a caravan format, with the first leg scheduled for Bengaluru, followed by the second and final leg in Delhi. All matches would begin at 7:30pm IST.
The format remains the same: each team plays the other twice in the league, following which the team finishing on the top of the table gets a direct entry into the Final, and the teams finishing second and third play an Eliminator, the winner of which goes through to the Final, to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Okay, let’s not waste time. Here’s the MI schedule:
