Another one of our she-does-it all players. Pooja Vastrakar, much like most other girls starting out in cricket, began by playing with the boys back in her home town of Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. She started off as a batter in age-group cricket, before her pace picked up and bowling became her stronger suit, getting called up into the Indian team as an opening bowler in 2018 at the age of 19, only for her batting to re-emerge in the last year and for her to turn into a genuine all-rounder.
The Guru-Shishya relationship is back in the Goswami-Vastrakar combo!
