2017 winner, 2020 winner, an RTM, a prodigy – Meet our four new buys for IPL 2025
Phew, some day this. While most other teams went on a shopping spree early, we were happy to sit in, wait for the right time, and pounce. At the end of eight hours, we have four new additions to our #OneFamily.
Player |
Price (INR) |
Trent Boult |
12.50 cr |
Naman Dhir (RTM) |
5.25 cr |
Robin Minz |
65 lakhs |
Karn Sharma |
50 lakhs |
A gun fast bowler – sorted in the form of Boult. Our former legend and an IPL winner with us at that, who was the Player of the Match in the 2020 IPL winning final. A young Indian batter, uncapped, who impressed one and all in the last season, Naman, RTMed. Robin Minz, a young upcoming wicket-keeping-batter from Jharkhand, who’s already one of the hottest properties in the Indian domestic circuit going around was snapped up as well. And of course, Karn Sharma, the wily old leg-spinner, part of our final-winning XI in 2017 where he’s still remembered for bowling a miserly spell in the defence of a small total, is back!
Right, what does that then leave us with?
