Match preview, MI vs SRH: On the lookout for a second win at Wankhede!
Read it in Hindi.
Read it in Marathi.
After an unforgettable victory last time out at the Wankhede stadium, we will lock horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad this time in our penultimate league game of this season.
The head-to-head record does not throw up any clear favourites as we have won nine encounters to SRH’s eight in the 18 matches we have faced each other in so far. One match went to a super-over, which we won.
The last five matches though, do read 4-1 in our favour.
Players to watch out for
Opener Abhishek Sharma has been in good form for SRH, having scored 374 runs this season and is their highest run-getter.
Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran have all played crucial knocks at different stages in the middle order.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has given nothing away in his spells while Umran Malik has rattled opposition batters with his fiery pace.
In our camp, Tilak shone again with a mature knock and a calm head in a tough situation to take us home against CSK in the previous game.
Dan Sams has got the new ball to talk in every game while Boom and Riley have also bowled with rapid pace and accuracy to barely give opposition batters much chance.
Upcoming milestones
Skipper Ro needs 68 more runs to get to 5000 runs for us.
The in-form Dan Sams is two wickets away from completing 100 T20 wickets.
Another night clash at our home ground has us all excited and we cannot wait for the action to begin!
