Sairaj Shelar (101 and 3-7) and Shivratna Suryavanshi (6 for 15) starred in Sinhgad City School’s 369-run win over Dr. G.G. Shah English Medium School in an MI Junior Boys’ Under-16 fixture in Pune on Monday.

Batting first, Sinhgad City racked up a huge total of 395/9 in 40 overs, thanks to Sairaj’s stellar ton. Shivratna and Sairaj then ran through the G.G. Shah batting to skittle them for just 26 runs.

In the Boys’ Under-14 category in Pune, all-round brilliance by Mohammed Saqlain Irfan Shaikh (56 and 5-26) guided Anglo Urdu Boys High School to a 79-run win over Podar International School, Wakad in a low-scoring affair.

Put into bat, Anglo Urdu Boys High School managed a fighting total of 150, thanks to Mohammed’s brave half-century. Mohammed then weaved his magic with the ball to restrict Podar to 71 runs.
