Wowza!!! Runs, wickets, catches and bucket-loads of action...

The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25’s league stage comes to an end & we must say, our Boys in Blue and Gold have warmed up nicely for the knockout stages! 💪

Let’s have a look how they fared towards the business end of the league phase. ⬇️

Matchday 5 | 31st December – TV’s way to celebrate new year eve!

Hyderabad captain Tilak Varma’s cracking 106-ball 99 powered his team to two consecutive wins for the first time this season. Falling short of just one run of a well-deserved century, the knock was filled with enticing shots, including seven fours and one maximum.

Meanwhile, pacer Deepak Chahar extended his fine run of form, picking two more wickets at an economy of 4.90 for Rajasthan against Services in a comfortable five-wicket victory.

Matchday 6 | 3rd January – Chahar’s all-round show in an exciting win!

Pacer Deepak Chahar continued his wicket-taking spree with 2/77 in 10 overs versus Railways. Moreover, he also played an important role for his team in chasing a massive total of 345 runs.

Towards the toe end of the innings, his run-a-ball 14 helped Rajasthan edge past their opponents by one wicket. Khoop chhaan, Deepak! 👏

Matchday 7 | 5th January – Naman Dhir’s first-ever fifty in List A

Punjab batter Naman Dhir dazzled in his maiden half-century in the 50-over format as he scored a 40-ball 55 in a one-sided 167-run win over Puducherry.

Striking at 137.50, the 25-year-old hit seven fours and a maximum en-route to his personal milestone. Way to go, young man! 💥
