SAvIND T20Is preview: Let's quickly put the NZ drubbing behind us please!
Long off… Long off… Suryakumar Yadav!!!!!
If the above words still reverberate in your ears, then you are a true Indian Cricket Team fan!
…and with an aim to recreate that magical evening, Surya Dada and Co. will travel to South Africa to take on the Proteas in a four-match T20I series beginning November 8, 2024.
This will be Team India’s sixth bilateral series against South Africa in T20Is in their backyard, having emerged triumphant on three occasions.
Moreover, aamcha Mr. 360° has had a stellar start to his full-time T20I captaincy tenure and is yet to taste defeat. With six wins in as many matches, the Men in Blue head into the upcoming series with a 100% record under Suryakumar Yadav’s leadership!
On the other hand, the South African cricket team has endured a challenging period in the shortest format of the game post the T20 World Cup 2024 campaign, where they ended as the runners-up.
With a 3-0 thumping against the West Indies and a 1-1 draw against Ireland, the hosts will look to make amends in the forthcoming series, knowing it would be an uphill task to overcome the reigning T20I champions.
