Hectic. Stressful. Nervy. And finally, just excitement. Okay, some relief as well, maybe with a dash of slight sadness that always comes in at the end of every three-year cycle at seeing the squad disperse. That’s what an IPL mega auction does to you, and 2025 was no different.

And once that’s out of our system, we’re left with a seriously heady bout of Josh as we line up our 22-member squad that’s set to take on the world, come April 2025. Five of our biggies were retained. One was RTMed. One was re-bought. Two former MI stars, both IPL title winners, are making a return to don the Blue and Gold. There’s a crossover in the MI #OneFamily as well, from Cape Town to Mumbai. Two guns, tried-and-tested all-rounders, a mystery spinner, a bunch of young Indian talents, we’ve got the full range.
