On the day when Team India were due to face the mighty Australians at Mohali, the Mumbai Indians youngsters start the practice to defend the title. As expected the big names were not a part of this Champ Camp, courtesy International duties. Though the coaches had their task cut-out because of only few players to work with, they were completely at their job.

We could see Shane Bond, helping out the new pace sensation in the domestic circuit, Nathu Singh. Robin Singh was working with Parthiv-Patel and Ambati Rayudu, making sure they had the maximum time in the net. It was exciting to watch few youngsters like Unmukt Chand and Siddesh Lad, smash the bowlers out of the training ground.On the day when Team India faces the mighty Australians at Mohali, the Mumbai Indians youngsters start the practice to defend the title.

The 3 hour long practice session began with some light warm-up and fielding drills. According to Robin Singh, the players are supposed to work on their physical fitness much more this year. The Team management is hoping that every cricketer remains fit throughout the IPL, and hence the training regime has been kept in the afternoon.Making the players accustomed to the heat is necessary for excelling their performance at the highest level, is what the team management believes and so does the players. Every player was seen enjoying their time on the training ground. The team has a bundle of new players, including youngsters as well as International talent. The youngsters have started with their efforts to prepare a title defense, and are eagerly waiting for their Indian team friends to return after winning the world-cup.
